"Thank you Kay, I'm getting loads of compliments. Today (in my 7/8th trousers) I was asked what diet regime I was on since I had clearly lost so much weight! ‘Style glow’ moment."
"I only have one regret I hadn't heard about this years ago. I have just had my 50th and for the first time in my life feel fab in my clothes."
"I really enjoy being part of ASKAY. Very quickly I had a better understanding of my individual style and now have the knowledge to shop in confidence, avoid costly mistakes and improve the way I look and feel."
"I now feel more confident when shopping and putting outfits together and particularly appreciate the importance of considering everything from underwear to final accessories. Thank you!"
"Thanks for a wonderful site. As well as pointing us ladies in the right direction, fashion-wise, you also care about how and where the clothes are made. Congratulations! It’s a very important message. It really feels as though I have a friend at the other end of the email!"
"Becoming a member helped me to understand how important it is to learn about your body and lifestyle - then find your own style and stop chasing everything out there! With ASKAY you have the connection online to ask questions and read blogs and news and keep up to date. This is what women need, help with style not fashion, it makes me feel confident."
I'm a fashion designer who has built a career designing working wardrobe collections for large brands both in the UK and overseas. From 20 crew on a motor yacht to 20,000 retail staff, airlines to F1, a private island resort to International hotel chains. My work is varied and exciting.
However I have seen 1st hand the destruction being caused by the fashion industry around the world. Designing and supplying my own ranges, I have always prioritised ethical production and environmental protection. The retail fashion industry largely ignores best practices and pushes factories to cut corners and exploit people, when it doesn't have to be that way! Fashion can be produced at a reasonable price point without costing the earth but the most impactful thing we can do now as conscious consumers is buy less and love what we do have.
I firmly believe that our personal energy levels change when we are aligned with what we wear. I have created this online digital style society to help us understand and harness this super power using the clothes we already have.
I’d describe my own style as a blend of classic quality looks but with a quirky sporty twist, curated from years spent living in various different countries and climates. When I’m not in my style world I love being outdoors with my little crazy rescue dog or riding horses in the lanes of the beautiful island called Guernsey, where I am now so lucky to live.
You won’t find multiple pictures of me posing for Outfit of the Day on Instagram - I spend my time helping others and the planet. If you do follow me on social media you will find a few snapshots of imperfect poses and non-filtered pictures as I try to keep social media meaningful but minimal.
Stylish wishes
