Spring stay at home capsule wardrobe ideas.

style advice Mar 27, 2020

This is my super simple 1, 2, 3 principle to create a capsule wardrobe.

Using only six core pieces and a few accessories you can create a whole range of different outfits to suit your day. Just because we are on homestay doesn't mean we shouldn't be showing up in a great outfit ever day!

This really simple principle also shows how much more creative we can be with much less.

Step 1: Choose one warmth item. What you chose is about your style and your days. It might be a cardigan, a sweatshirt, a zip hoodie, a roll neck, a tunic sweater...the choice is yours.

Step 2: Choose two lower half garments.

It can be jeans, yoga bottoms, tracksuit pants, wide leg palazzo trousers, a maxi skirt, leggings or just a pair of comfy trousers.

Step 3: Choose three tops that co ordinate with the warmth layer and the bottom halves you have chosen. Long sleeves, short sleeves, ideally all of them can be worn below your warmth layer and obviously they can be worn on their own!

Combine to your hearts content!

Look One

Look Two

Look Three

Look Four

Etc Etc!
Throw in some great accessories which you can turn up the volume with or be classic and chic. A signature necklace, a  scarf or funky footwear. Your style your way but so many options with the principle of 1, 2, 3 steps to style!
